BAC finals will be held on the northern side of Washington Square Park, one of the City’s first parks, established in 1847. A popular North Beach stop for visitors and locals alike, bordered by sidewalk cafés and restaurants, as well as Saint Peter & Paul’s Church. The Square is a natural community gathering place with a long and fascinating history, hosting festivals, free movie nights and other special events throughout the year. The North Beach area of San Francisco is family-friendly, and was voted one of the 10 Best U.S. Neighborhoods in 2007 by the American Planning Association.
The event will be held on the north side of the park, near Filbert Street.
The preliminary round will be held in CellSpace, a community art and performance space located in the Mission district of San Francisco. Conveniently close to upscale shopping and cutting-edge fashion boutiques as well as acclaimed restaurants, CellSpace is a quality venue that will be closed to the public and open only for competitors to allow them to focus on their craft.
Prelims will be held on Friday, May 13th from 10 am until 4 pm at CellSpace in the Mission district. Prelims will be 1 minute freestyles.
There is no broken down schedule for prelims. Registration opens at 10 AM and all divisions will begin immediately at 11 AM. There will be a one-hour break for lunch from 1 PM until 2 PM.
Amateur Freestyle division will be held on Friday, with the top five competitors competing for placement during Saturday’s finals. Pick Your Trick division will be held BOTH days!
Finals will be held on Saturday, May 14th from 10 am until 4 pm at Washington Square Park. Finals will be 3 minute freestyle.

10 AM – 3 PM – Beginner Area (Free Yo-Yo Lessons!)
11 AM – 3:30 PM – Freestyle Finals (Standard and Deviant)

There will be a one-hour lunch break from 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM.
